With great sadness we share the passing of our father Robert W. Maday on October 24, 2023. He was a proud and generous man. He enjoyed a long and happy retirement after serving over two decades in the U.S. Army. He retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer II. A beloved achievement as he obtained officer status, despite his lack of opportunity for higher education. He later obtained his college degree but found that he was most proud of his rank as a devoted and loving Grandfather. He will forever live in our hearts and esteem as “Grampa Bob.” He Is survived by his children Donna and Darrell and his adoring grandchildren, Jessica, Nichole, Mack David, Margaret Jacqueline, and Lauren, and numerous grandchildren (it’s Gummibar Bobbi...not gummy bear :). He is joined in Heaven by his loving, caring, and always fun wife Jacqueline Vallance Maday.
In lieu of flowers, please choose to support a cause meaningful to you, or contribute to a Native American Community as that was an important cause for him.
His Catholic faith gave him peace and God has him now. Love Always to Grampa Bob.
