Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother born in Martinez, CA, died peacefully at home with her family. She is survived by her four children (Joe, Jill, Ann, and Sally), 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and one more on the way. She made many lifelong friends during her time at UC Berkeley and through her life in Monterey. We will all miss her.
Nancy worked to put her husband, William C. Marsh, through Hastings Law School. He went on to become City Attorney of Monterey (1962 to 1989). Their home was open to everyone. Nancy not only looked after her own children but also provided respite and support for their friends that needed some extra mothering. She is remembered for her kindness, empathy, and hospitality.
