Madison Dempsey Rose, born in Walnut Creek on October 19, 1989, passed away as the result of a traffic accident on August 10. She was a graduate of Bentley High School and attended Sonoma State University. Maddie’s amazing work ethic led to her career as a high fashion salesperson which allowed her to travel all over the country.
Maddie is remembered as being a good friend to everyone in her life. Always very mature for her age, she was non-judgmental, making all around her feel good about themselves and welcome in whatever activity she was pursuing. Fashionable no matter what she was doing, Maddie’s energy, style and attitude were larger than life. Very family-oriented, she completely loved her family and she and her mother were best friends.
Maddie is survived by her parents, Donald and Jenny Rose (whom she called Baj and Mamacita) of Carmel; her siblings, Krista (Jamie) Latiolais of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Holly (Javier Lopez) Rose-Lopez of Brentwood and Joel (Michelle) Compton of Oakland; her beloved nieces and nephews, Jacob, Brett, Elizabeth, Antonio, Sebastian, Chloe, Giana and Cora and her bonus niece and nephew, Tori and Amari.
Funeral Services will take place at The Paul Mortuary Chapel in Pacific Grove next Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 AM followed by burial at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey.
