Madeline passed away April 7, 2025. She was a native of Monterey. After graduating from Monterey High School, she married Robert Grant and raised two daughters in Pacific Grove. She worked as a secretary on the Monterey Peninsula before relocating to Mountain View, CA. After retiring, she and her husband returned to their home in Pacific Grove.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister Marian Barron. She is survived by her daughters Linda DeRuelle (John) and Terri Cowgill (Lee), granddaughter Jessica Bakeman, great grandchildren Daniel and Caitlyn Bakeman, 4 great great grandchildren and her sisters Josephine Favazza, Myrtle Ball, Jean Moore (Al) and Joan Minafo (Joe).
