We know God has a special place in Heaven for John.  Some of our happiest memories in Hawaii were sharing time with you and your Family. We share you loss.

Dear Carolyn,  as we spoke prior to John's passing Nina and I have so many fond memories of his and your kindness to our entire family.  We admired John's integrity, purpose and his love for you and the children.  I was fortunate to be at John's side for many years and respected his leadership and friendship.  John was my mentor and moved my career along and always respected my opinion.  We shared cherished times and love of our dogs.   John will always be in our hearts.  

My deepest condolences to the family of John. May he rest in peace.

John Sanders was a distinguished gentleman, incredible husband, an amazing father , and a respected Christian contributing member to society. One of the great patriots and leaders of our community, state, country and world.

Carolyn, I'm very saddened to hear about John. 
As you know he played a larger than life role in my marketing development. Together we grew (with the help of many) the Oronite Fuels business into the worldwide leader in the 1980's.

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. Thinking of him brings back many  fond memories of the Chevron Oronite Family under his leadership. As I began my early career in Sales during the 1980’s John was always available and generous with his time to share his counsel and support. I particularly recall his joining me at several key customer visits where he clearly helped opened doors to grow and sustain our relationships. His optimistic and ever positive approach to our business always showed through.

John was the first “non-technology" boss I ever had while I was in the technology function. I learned a great deal from him about the business world at a very young age, knowledge that I would never have gained otherwise. I will always be in his debt for his kindness. Rest In Peace, John. John was an amazing leader, work colleague and friend to all of us in the Chevron family. He was always so supportive of customer relationship building and was generous with his time to help us do so.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to John's family.

We have happy memories of times spent with John and Carolyn at Carmel Valley Manor and with John at The Old Capital Club in Monterey. John was such a happy and friendly presence everywhere he went. We will miss him and send comforting thoughts to Carolyn and the family.
