Monterey ~ James M. Turner, born in Carmel and a life-long peninsula resident, passed away at Community Hospital. Following graduation from Pacific Grove High School, he served in the US Navy.
James worked as a tree-trimmer for over twenty years. He loved animals, especially dogs.
James is survived by his life partner, Angele Laredo, of Monterey; his mother, Barbara Turner of Seaside; his sister, Jacolyn (Frank) Deniz of Seaside; his uncle, Edward Burns; one nephew and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, James and his twin brother, Robert William.
