Pacific Grove – Elisa Acosta Pratt passed away peacefully in her home in Pacific Grove on April 30th. She was devoted to her family and faith and was known at St. Angela Merici Church for the beautiful hats she wore each Sunday. Elisa was a volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul store well into her 80’s and was a Third Order lay Carmelite.
Elisa is survived by her children Ernestine Perez (Ray) Nancy Leon, Sylvia Schuck (Ken), Luci Indrani Hawkins (Dennis) and Lenny Leon. She is also survived by her sister Amy Cruz, Brother Fred Acosta, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Frank Leon, first husband Ignacio Leon and John Pratt her second husband.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Church in Pacific Grove on May 17th at 11:00 a.m. Any memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul in Pacific Grove.
