Before she went to walk with Jesus, she had many visitors, they brought love, prayers, visits, flowers, cards, food, and phone calls. Dora her sister by choice, longtime friend and care giver was by her side in song prayer just two days prior to her death. Mary on behalf of George and Kim and others in the family was able to fly from Texas come hold her hand, talk to her, pray, read scriptures and sing. George and Jim Jones both called and talked to her. Her friends Bonnie, Johanna, Cheryl, Kevin, Georgina and Sharon came to visit her and talk with her. In her last moments, she had her daily devotional read to her by Patricia. Then we had a time of prayer, and we were singing with her “Heavenly Sunlight, and This world is not my home” as she took her last breaths.
