John Douglas Boykin
April 19, 1945 – December 23, 2017
IN THE CARE OF
John D. Boykin was born at Camp Rucker, Alabama on April 19, 1945 and departed this life on December 23, 2017.
He was born to the late Victor and Dorothy Boykin. He attended and graduated Pine Bluff High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello before joining the U.S. Air Force. He loved his family, frogs, the Hogs and the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his wife, Senta Boykin of Ozark, AL; daughters, Mechelle (Shawn) Jackson of Little Rock, AK, Ann (Alvin) Cross of Ozark, AL; brothers, Louis (Donna) Boykin of Greenville, TX, David (Charlotte) Boykin of Las Vegas, NV; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
