Vicente Salvacion Manzano Jr., Passed away peacefully on Friday March 28, 2014 at the age of 68.
Vicente was born in Honolulu Hawaii. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman with Battery B, 2D Battalion, 33D Artillery, 1st Infantry Division during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable tour of duty, he returned home to Hawaii where he met and married the love of his life, Dionisia "Dee Dee" Ufano. Junior and Dee Dee raised their children in Hawaii until 1988 when they moved to Oxnard California. He was a retired civil service worker from the Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, California.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Dee Dee Manzano and daughters Cynthia (Walter) Harris, Priscilla (Gary) Morales, Kristina Manzano and his only son Randy (Erika), 2 grandsons & 4 Granddaughters.
Siblings: Irene (Ron) Coe, Benjamin (Summer), Pearla (Macdonald) Bagood, Ruthie (Marcelino) Esdicul, Judy (Frank) Cajigal, Lorraine (Cy) Shimabukuro & numerous nieces and nephews.
