Santiago Agbisit De Ocampo Sr.

Santiago Agbisit de Ocampo, Sr., age 85, passed away on August 20, 2017 in Oxnard after a brief illness. Born on July 25, 1932 in Abulug, Cagayan, Philippines. He was the youngest son in a family of seven children. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Genoveva, 3 children; Evelyn (Steve, husband); Bueno (Lilia, wife); Celito; 3 grandchildren and one greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by sister Victoria Barretto of Oxnard. He was preceded in death by his youngest son Santiago, Jr.

Santiago immigrated to the United States with his family in 1981 and has been a resident of Ventura County for 36 years. He loved to spend time in his yard gardening, fishing and watching Filipino movies. He became active in various Filipino organizations in Ventura County, such as, I.C.A.C. and Senior Citizens of Ventura County.

Visitation will be held from 4-9 pm on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 and Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at the Funeraria Del Angel, Oxnard, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd. followed by vigil service at 7 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at St. Augustine Priory, 409 Sherwood Way, Oxnard. Internment will be at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Rd, Ventura.
