Robert " Rock " Gurrola, age 64, of Fillmore, CA passed away Friday, April 28th 2017. Weary of reading obituaries noting someone's courageous battle with death, Robert wanted it known that he died as a result of being stubborn and refusing to follow doctor's orders while still raising hell. He enjoyed booze, tattoos and his 2 daughters. Not necessarily in that order. Survived by his 2 daughters, Vanessa and Veronica Gurrola, 2 grandsons, Evan and Benjamin Carrillo and 2 sisters, Laura Flores and Christina Alvarez. To his dying day he had still made it very clear that no matter how much time had passed by, he still only had eyes for one woman his proceeded life long partner Janet Cantrell.
