Mary was born on November 5, 1926, in San Juan De Los Lagos, Guadalajara Mexico. Mary came to the United States in 1934 as a young child.
While growing up in Oxnard she met Ruben. They fell in love, married on November 8, 1942, and had 70 wonderful years together. During that time they spent their lives in Oxnard and raised their three children. While raising her family she also worked for Oxnard/Santa Clara and Ventura Coastal Lemon Associations for 41 years until the time of her retirement in 1984, during that time she made many lifelong friends.
On April 12, 1999, she proudly became a Citizen of the United States. Mom loved camping, going to Las Vegas, lake Tahoe and Big Bear, She loved cooking, watching the Dodgers with Dad, and most of all Her Novellas. To mom, you will be missed but forever in our hearts. To dad, thanks for always being there and taking care of Mom, we love you.
She is preceded in death by Desiderio and Francisca Navarro (parents), Victor and Lino (brothers) Mary is survived by Ruben (husband), Ruben Jr. (son) Erma (wife), Richard (son) Sherry (wife), David (son) Rosanne (wife), Esther (sister) Robert (husband); 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
We would also like to thank Saint John's Hospital and especially Livingston Memorial Sisters Servants of Saint Mary for all there help and support during this most difficult time.
Viewing and Visitation will be held Wed. Nov. 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. In the chapel of Funeraria Del Angel Conrad Carroll Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Isl. Blvd., Oxnard. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thur. Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. St. Anthony's Catholic Parish. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, Oxnard Arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Conrad Carroll. 487-4911
