Martin X. Castaneda, born May 13, 1960 in Bakersfield, CA , after 7 1/2 years of illness.
He left peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday January 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Lucy and Ignacio Castaneda and his brother Jimmy Castaneda.
Martin is survived by his wife Lisa Castaneda his son Richard Castaneda, step-children, Robert Torres, Jason, George and Daniel Renteria, his sisters Joann Malich (husband Pat) and Carol Robles (husband Phillip).
His passions were sound ministry and photography. He enjoyed walks on the pier with his wife.
Viewing will beheld Thursday, January 24 from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. with a celebration of life service will follow at Victory Outreach, 200 W. Pleasant Valley Road, Oxnard, CA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of FDA Conrad-Carroll Mortuary, Oxnard (805)487-4911.
