Manuel S. Aragon Sr.
August 23, 1937 - March 21, 2025
Manuel Aragon Sr. age 87 of Oxnard, California passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025 at his home.
Manuel was a devoted husband, loving father and cherished grandfather & great grandfather. He was known for his love of Dodgers baseball, generosity, witty sense of humor and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
A true Dodgers fan at heart, Manuel cherished every moment spent watching his favorite team play.
Whether it was watching a game on television or listening to it on the radio while drinking a cold one, he would never miss an inning.
Manuel loved sitting in his backyard, enjoying the sunshine and savoring fresh tangerines from his garden. Those moments of tranquility were a reflection of his gentle and loving spirit.
Manuel is survived by his sons Manuel Aragon Jr. and Angel Aragon. His grandchildren,Manuel Peter
Aragon, Angelina Aragon and Michelle Prieto. Manuel is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, his sisters Alice Arroyo, Jenny Salazar & Terry Lopez and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy M. Aragon, daughter Annette Godinez, his brother Ignacio Aragon Jr., sister Anita Ramos, father Ignacio Aragon Sr. and mother Maria Salinas.
Manuel will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy and his memory will live on through his family.
Rosary service to be held on April JO, 2025 4pm-8pm at Funeraria del Angel Oxnard. Funeral Service to be held on April 11,2025 at Funeraria del Angel Oxnard at 10am with burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery
