Frank Quiroz Gonzales was born on July 22, 1920 in Santa Paula, California to Valentina Quiroz and Felix Gonzales. Children are Albertina, Pauline Margaret, Alice, Robert, Manuel, Eli, Victor, Frank, Betty and Sylvia.
On September 14, 2013, he passed away peacefully after turning 93 yrs. old. He was walked back home to our Lord by his family in heaven.
Frank held many jobs including rail-roads, agriculture as a foreman, and later retired as a Security Officer for Burns Security. He was an exemplary employee who prided himself in arriving one hour early to work ready to serve his post. He was instrumental in helping many immigrants' family members from Mexico find employment in farm labor whereby they were able to help improve the lives of their families in Mexico. He made many friends in Santa Paula who he visited bringing along a box of oranges and/or avocadoes grown locally to give them.
Frank had three children from his first marriage to Molly Garcia. Their children together included Frances (husband Robert Cruz), Tommy (wife Rosie) and Vera (husband Marius Ehrhardt). Later he married Maria Elena Hernandez and had another son, Frank Gonzales Jr. and four step-children: Juan, Salvador, Alice, and Cecilia who he helped raise.
He had eight grand-children: Tommy, Frankie, Jason, Joanna, Frances, Renee, Robert, and Sheila. He also had fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The Celebration of life service for Frank Quiroz Gonzales will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Viewing from 10am to 1pm followed by a 1pm recitation of the Holy Rosary at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad's & James Reardon Chapel with Deacon Joe Kennedy Officiating.
A reception will be held at Santa Paula Church of Christ Fellowship Hall at 276 W. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula, CA from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
