Felipe Rodriguez

Felipe Rodriguez was born August 1, 1939 in Zitacuaro, Mexico, and died October 14, 2016 at the age of 77. He came to the US in 1956 at the of 17. After high school, he worked as a truck driver for many years. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, nurturing his plants, and using his wit and humor to entertain others. He loved reading encyclopedias and dictionaries and was recently teaching himself French. He had a curious mind and active imagination.

Felipe will be greatly missed by his daughters Hanizel and Jessica Rodriguez, and Letty Baez, and numerous grandchildren, as well as his siblings, Gloria and Tony and Javier Rodriguez. He is now with his mother Maria De Jesus Suarez and Father Felipe Rodriguez, as well as his siblings Abel, Paticio.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 4pm to 9pm with Rosary to begin at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Oxnard. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Friday, October 21 at 10am.
