Eileen Lederer

Eileen F. Lederer or known to many as “Grammy” passed away Friday November 10th after a valiant and courageous fight with breast cancer.

Eileen was born July 26th 1938 to Katherine and Clinton Ranney in Chicago IL. where she was raised.

She graduated college from Cal State Northridge and went to work for CETA and the State of California EDD (unemployment division) for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her late husband LCDR Ret John C Lederer. She is survived by sons Britt (Margaret) of Chandler AZ and Todd (Loretta) of Taft CA. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Frank Ranney of Tenn. numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of many, many friends.

Grammy gave love and was loved by so many but there is a special group of people to her that meant the world to her. They were all part of her family and all had a very special place in her heart. Christine and Irene, Delores and Nikki, Aunt Linda and Vicki and Mike and last and most special were Emily, Rose and Charlie.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made in her name to Breast Cancer Research.
