Tom worked with a good friend to start a landscape company called Touch of the Tropics in Miami. Tom also worked as a baggage handler for Delta Airlines for over 20 years. He retired and loved flipping houses (which he ended up flipping over 100 in 15 years). He enjoyed bowling, working on houses, dancing to rap videos with his daughter, watching his daughter play soccer, going to concerts with his friends, spending time with his family at the beach/lake, and traveling. He made a ritual with his daughter to go to the driving range to hit golfballs for their birthdays. He was the life of the party, enjoyed making jokes, being loud, photo bombing pictures, and most of all he liked to drive everyone crazy. He was a father figure to many. One of his greatest strengths was his generosity for helping others, even if he had to put his needs on hold. He helped many people buy a house, get through college, handle their student debt, and prepare for their future. He was such a beautiful and caring human being, who was self-less in so many ways.”
Sincerely,
Nicole Martell
