Susan (Sue) Ann Richards Layton, of Orlando, Florida passed away on her birthday, Sunday, August 30, 2020. She was 79 years old.
Sue was born in Jackson, Michigan to Donald and Nevangeline Richards. She graduated from nursing school in 1962 and worked many years as an R.N., moving to Orlando, Florida in 1986 and working into her early 70’s. Sue touched the lives of many through her nursing career and was loved by everyone fortunate enough to meet her. She was wonderful.
Susan is survived by her loving husband Joseph Layton, daughters Julia (Craig) Jackson, Kristin (Terry) Fullerton, and Karen (Michael) Burns. She is also survived by her grandchildren Samuel (Rae) Showerman, Rachel Showerman, Jacob Henderson, and Emily Henderson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 1331 S. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, Fl 32828
