Ronald served 26 years in the US Army and completed two tours in Vietnam with the prestigious 1st Calvary division. Following his military service, Ronald worked for the Civil Service at PM Trade and Stricom at the United States Army Simulation and Training Center before retiring in 2006.
Throughout it all he remained devoted to Renate Letrent his loving wife and their three daughters Sherry Carter, Michele Mason, and Melissa Letrent. His five grandchildren and four great grandchildren brought immeasurable joy into Ronald's life.
Those who knew Ronald will remember him as a man of integrity, a true gentleman whose kindness touched everyone around him. He cherished the simple things in life and spending quality time with his family.
The loss of Ronald has left an indelible void within those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through memories filled with laughter and unwavering love and he will never be forgotten. We will always love you Dad, aka. Papa and Grandpa. You will forever be in our hearts...
The funeral service to honor Ronald’s life will be held on Thursday April 25th at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 10:00am where he will receive full military honors as a tribute to his years of service.
