Modesto Santiago Gomez, age 82 of Merritt Island, FL passed away September 22, 2017. He was born in Villalba, Puerto Rico on November 21, 1934 to Pedro Santiago and Maria Gomez. Modesto is survived by his loving wife, Lidia Santiago; son Francisco Santiago, daughter, Annette Rodriguez, son, Juan Santiago. Grandchildren, Keith Luguis, Joey Rodriguez, Jeremy Rodriguez, Stephanie Rodriguez, Taylor Santiago, Alex Santiago, Nicholas Santiago, Lynnette Santiago, Daniela Santiago, and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Oviedo Chapel, 501 East Mitchell Hammock Road, Oviedo, Florida 32765, Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12Noon at the funeral home. He will be buried at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
