I still can't believe sometimes that you're not here with us in person, but in spirit you are. I think about you at times while creating culinary dishes and want to share success. But I know you're up there giving approval and proud. You and Donna will always have a place in my heart because of your warm hospitality and kindness. I just want to say thank you for everything.

Brother you left us too early.  But look at what you've given to your family and the live's of others, that will be you legacy.

Matt and his whole family have a special part of my heart.  Always good times when we are together. One regret I have is I never got to experience his Cheffistry. Lol

We remmber matt when he was a little boy he was very quiet, layed back boy. Now's hes in heaven with his dad and lenny looking down over is family he will be there guardian angel .

Matt was a caring and gentle soul. You could tell that he loved Donna and his girls. He was so proud of them.  He took his illness in stride and never seemed to complain. He was a great chef and I enjoyed the meals he prepared for us all. We will miss him and know he is now healthy once again in heaven. All our love and sympathy to Donna and family.

Saying see ya later to one of my many brothers of the old Wattsburg road bunch, what a life we all have lived and continue to live in our many varied and wonderful adventures here and in the ever after.  Semper fi.


Matt, you will be missed greatly. Visiting at your home will become a treasured memory. I want to thank you for all you have done for me professionally and personally. Teaching me about Culinary Arts, being a mentor, and a father figure to look up too in life. Being a young chef and man, you hwlped me grow in both areas,  giving advice when needed and your actions spoke volumes. Thank you for bringing me into your family and it is my honor to be your good friend. Love you always.

Matt..   you were always an amazing man.  Full of life, love, laughter.  Our families were so close, you became one of my favorite brothers.  The memories, the times we shared back in the day at the Wattsburg hangout...  Dan and Cheryl's!!!    When i found out you had became a chef..  I was shocked, amazed, and so proud, happy.  The creations you shared left me in awe.  Your gardens, canning, home cooked meals.  The paths our lives take us....  took you.   God bless you always.  You left a piece of you in so many hearts and lives......  hugs and love little brother

I remember having family get togethers when we were young. Matt was the nicest kid. It sounds like he became an amazing man. Fly High Cousin. My prayers are with Aunt Sheva, and his entire family.

I went to school with Matt and lived in Lowville. Great family to know. Last time I can remember hanging with Matt was a gathering at our old swimming hole called the falls. Across the street from mark Greenawalt house. RIP MATT YOU WILL BE MISSED.
