Linda Marie Eaglin, age 70 of Deland, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018. She was born August 18, 1948 in Falls Church, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Ron, daughters, Catherine Eaglin and Anna Estrada; brother, Wayne Ritenour and one grandchild on the way.
Linda was universally loved by all and loved everyone in return. She was always positive even when facing the worst. She was also tough, extremely tough – never showing the true pain she felt in the last years, but serving as a source of inspiration to others with her warmth and positive outlook. Linda truly loved her children and family with all her heart. She volunteered to help others with the local hospital and garden club. She gave freely of herself. Linda had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor. She was always able to see the humor and positive in everything.
Linda achieved a Masters degree in engineering, but her true love and passion was for her children. She could and did achieve great things in all areas of her life, but never lost focus on those things that were truly important – valuing and cultivating friendships and being a source of strength to others, especially her children.
Linda was an amazing woman and was recognized as such by all who had the pleasure to know her. Her strength will live on as an inspiration to everyone, though her true legacy – and the one she is most proud of – was her incredible children.
