He was an avid cruiser and loved to make people laugh. He never let anyone know his true age, always telling people he was 39 years old. He loved to sing along with a great song on the radio and lay by the pool with a good cocktail in hand.
John grew up in Toms River, NJ and graduated from Toms River South High School in 1979. He moved to Florida in 1996 to be close to the beach and have a palm tree in his front yard. He had received two Masters’ degrees in Business Administration and Finance. He worked as a Restaurant Manager at Universal Studios for 19 years.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Nicolle (Maressa) Taylor Levy of Winter Park, FL, Kristyn Taylor of Orlando, FL, Morgan Taylor of Orlando, FL, Caryn (Jason) Marinello of Kingsland, GA, Stacey (Ryan) Pappas of Cookeville, TN, and Erin (Andre) Silveira of Orlando, FL; mother, Jacklyn Geiger of Toms River, NJ; sister, Jill (Butch) Humienik of Toms River, NJ; grandchildren, Ryan Pappas of Ocala, FL, Jason and Jenna Marinello of Kingsland, GA, and Bryanna, Paige, Sophia, and Antonio Silveira of Orlando, FL, and his loving dogs, Coco, Bailey, Scout, and grand-dog Leia.
