James E. Hewett Sr.

Jimmy was born and raised in Orlando, Florida to Robert E. and Jesse C. Hewett. After completing high school, he began a lifelong family tradition of work in the Water Well Construction field. When Jimmy passed he was the sole owner and President of Hewett Well & Pump Inc. He was the third generation of Well Drilling Hewett men.

Jimmy was a gun enthusiast who also loved saltwater fishing. He spent many hours with his family and friends fishing all over Merritt Island Reserve, both on shore and in the water.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Melissa, children Rebecca Lee (Damon Bailey), James Eugene Hewett Jr. (Tracy Hewett) Their grandchildren, Christopher James, Jessica Marie, Alexis Leigh, Hunter William, Faith Melissa, James Eugene 3rd (Trey) and Madison Taresa. He is survived by 2 of his sisters, Roberta and Linda. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Robert E. and Jesse Hewett and sister Vicky.

Jimmy will always be remembered for loving his family, his friends and his work. He always made time to help a friend in trouble. Always sharing a beautiful smile and those twinkling blue eyes as he made someone laugh.

Jimmy's memorial service will be held May 5th, 2018 at 2pm. Located at National Cremation, 7565 Red Bug Lake Rd. Oviedo, Florida 32765
