Aaron Jack Florence

Aaron was born in 1961 In Glasgow Scotland to Frank and Felice. He had a passion for travel and the travel business. After leaving high school and a brief stint as an electrician’s apprentice he moved to London where he embarked on a long career in travel and tourism.

He built long standing relationships across the industry, arranged travel for the rich and famous. He knew everyone and was loved by everyone in the industry. In 1994 he married Debbie Belanger and soon after the family grew with Aaron’s pride and joy First Zachary in 1996 followed by Haleigh 1997 – their two children who he loved and cherished and watched grow up with pride.

In 1997 they moved to Florida to start a new life in the United States, while he loved the US he missed England and Scotland where he had so many friends and close family.

He worked in a number of different areas always in the travel industry spending the end of his career with Florida Tours in Miami, where once again he built amazing relationships developing the tour business for cruise passengers in South Florida.

Aaron was larger than life, he lived life to the full and had a huge heart. He walked into a room with a huge smile and you just knew he was there and would have a joke a comment that would break the ice and generate a chuckle or a belly laugh.

Aaron left us far too young and is survived by his son Zachary and his wife Meredith, Haleigh his daughter, Debra Belanger their mother, Marion and Barry Edwards his sister and brother in law and their children Tanya, Emma and Jessica, Steven Florence his brother and the legacy of a life well lived. He will be sorely missed by his children, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to those most affected by the sudden loss of Aaron. His children, Zachary and Haleigh.

A funeral service for Aaron will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 501 E MITCHELL HAMMOCK RD, OVIEDO, FL 32765. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 TEMPLE DR, WINTER PARK, FL 32789.
