Thomas Samuel Kincaid, 20, passed away on April 24, 2011 at Ft. Bliss, Texas where he proudly served his country. Thomas was born in Kansas City on November 8, 1990. He lived most of his life in Olathe and Overland Park, loved by his parents Greg Kincaid and Marti Shuey.
Thomas had an incredibly agile mind along with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart that had room for all.
He leaves behind his mother and step-father, Marti and Greg Shuey, his father and step-mother Greg and Michale Ann Kincaid, his beloved brother and sister Jonathan and Hannah and five step-siblings, Ryan and Hayley Jordan and Dr. Heather Shuey-Burton, Brandon and Trenton Shuey, grandparents Rod and Darlene Kincaid and Aften McKinney. Each of them holds Thomas in a special place that can never be forgotten.
Thomas served his country in an exemplary manner for that last 2 years in the United States Army including nine months in Iraq. He was recently promoted and will be honored with a full military service.
Visitation will be Friday, April 29th at McGilley Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS, 7:00-10:00 PM. Services will be held Saturday, April 30, at 9:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, KS. Private burial.
