Richard W. Reese

Richard was born on November 26, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to Samuel W. and Dorothy (Dare) Reese. He attended the University of Missouri. Richard married Shirley Nadine (Shaffer) on November 23, 1958. In his early years, he worked for Coca-Cola, Milgram’s and he had other odd jobs. Richard also worked for General Electric, but much of his career was spent in the Banking and Loan business as Vice President. He began his career at Columbia Union and finished at UMB Bank. Richard was very proud of starting and running his own business, “Damm Plumber”.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his two sisters, Shirley Higgins and Beverly Loth.

Richard was the proud Father and Grandfather to his three surviving children: Darren (Valerie) Reese, Piper Reese-Jasso and Kristin (Matt) Swain; and grandchildren: Adam Reese, Kennedy Jasso, Sawyer Jasso, Connor Swain and Jake Swain
