Raymond Lloyd Tuschhoff, 91, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on August 4, 2021 in Merriam, Kansas. Visitation will be held at McGilley & Hoge Chapel on August 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens in Shawnee, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post #370, 7500 W. 75th Street, Shawnee Mission, KS 66204.
Ray was born in Brainerd, Minnesota to Roy and Ida on February 15, 1930. He went to Washington High School and graduated in 1948. He went on to earn an Associates degree from Brainerd Junior College. He entered the US Army in 1952, serving two years on active duty and six years in the reserves. He worked as a Field Technician for IBM for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy, mother Ida, and brothers Robert and Ronald.
He is survived by his wife Sheryl (Schumacher) of Overland Park, Kansas, daughter Renee Hilton (Mark) of Lenexa, Kansas, son Bruce (Jill) of Prairie Village, Kansas, son Raymond (Michele) of Augusta, Kansas, son Jeffrey (Stephanie) of Bellevue, Washington, son Todd (Kathy) of Paola, Kansas, and son Keith (Wilena) of Augusta, Kansas. He is also survived by his grandchildren Karinne, Ethan, Mason, Bruce, Ryan, Michael, Omar, Sam, John, Raychele, Aaron, Emma, Beth, Austin, Forrest, and Lola along with his great grandchildren Connor, Makenzie, Samwell, Eliot, and Callum. Lastly, survived by his sister Ruth Gordon, and two brothers Roy and Richard.
