Mason, you taught us Live, Laugh, Love. We thank you for the gift of your life. You’ve added inspiration to so many. We are blessed forever to be your parents. You made us who we are and have forever changed our lives. You have shown us all how to LIVE life, whether it’s splashing in a fountain, tubing on the Lake, or riding Great Grandpa’s Harley. You’ve taught us to see the magic of each Season, chasing rainbows the first day of spring, the first SPLASH in summer, jumping in the biggest pile of leaves in fall, and catching that first snowflake of winter. You’ve taught us all how to observe each season. You’ve defined courage and bravery, a true hero. Shown us strength whatever life may deliver. You have always tried new challenges; even the daring ones; making sure Maverick passed the test first. You’ve shown us all how to fill each day with laughter. By sharing an ice cream, blowing bubbles with your sister, a creative moment with your brother, or spinning in a tea cup at Disney. You’ve taught us to celebrate every day not just holidays. You’ve showed us the power of LOVE. You’ve brought us together as a family. And that the world is our family. We are one. You’ve shown us a world full of kindness. That God’s love is powerful and everlasting. You’ve taught us the true meaning of friendship and that every one of us matters. You go out of the way to make someone feel special. All creatures great and small have a purpose. You made us all AWARE by standing up for what you believe in. You live on forever in our hearts, as we live, laugh and love. Celebrate every day.
During his inspirational journey, Mason was determined to help find a cure for cancer. He participated in his first 5K, Head for the Cure. He helped spread awareness of Childhood cancer with a parade. His love for learning never ceased, always asking questions. Eager to capture all life had to offer.
He loved swimming, biking, and playing soccer. He also participated in Boy Scouts Pack 3375. Tigers were Mason’s favorite animal and close to his heart from the start. He enjoyed taking care of his cat, Oreo and dog, Rex. He loved photography. His first movie titled Beauty A to Z was made from a combination of photographs. His movie won 1st in the Kansas PTA Reflection Contest. He was the typical boy playing Wii games, building Legos and playing Star Wars. But most of all Mason was a friend to anyone he met, sometimes quiet, but his smile lit up the room. Mason, the Strength of a tiger with the eyes of an angel.
