Mark Catanzaro, 69, of Overland Park, KS passed away Feb. 20th 2016 after a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Visitation is at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb 26th at Ascension Catholic Church, 9510 W. 127 St., Overland Park, KS., Mass at 10:00 AM, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery immediately after.
Mark was born in St. Louis, MO and was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Corinne and his brothers, John and Anthony, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, son Greg and wife Jenny, granddaughters Jessica and Sydney, son John, and son Mark and wife Kehly. He leaves behind his sister Susann and husband Elliott Farberman, brother Steven and wife Jeanne along with many nieces and nephews.
Mark received his BS from St. Benedict’s College and MBA from Rockhurst University. He was President and Owner of Jensen Engineering Co. for over 30 years. Of his many and varied interests, he was an avid cook and loved travel, especially to Italy. However, his greatest joy was his family and was happiest when with them for Sunday dinners. He was loved by his family and friends for his thoughtfulness and humor and will remain in their hearts. Mark was his family’s “rock.” He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and a good man. May he rest in peace.
