Larry R. Hollis, 56, of Henderson, Nevada, formerly of Overland Park, KS, passed away at his home in Henderson, Nevada on November 4, 2010. He was born in Burbank, California. He was two years old when the family moved to Overland Park, Kansas. He graduated from South High School. He attended one year at the Kansas City Art Institute. He was in the Navy for six years aboard the Aircraft Carrier Saratoga.
Survivors include: his parents, Robert and Margaret Hollis; two aunts; and several cousins. Visitation will be on November 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Overland Park Lutheran Church, 7810 W. 79th, Overland Park, KS 66204, with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas.
