Gloria Lavonne Gregory (Aunt Suzie), 80, Overland Park, KS, passed away October 6, 2011 at Overland Park Nursing & Rehabilitation. Gloria Lavonne Gregory was born Aug. 21, 1931 in Kansas City, MO. Originally from Kansas City, Mo, Gloria returned in 2004 after retiring at age 72. She was an executive secretary for 42 years at Pollenex in Chicago, IL which later became Stern Joint Venture. She was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend; and her infectious laugh and sense of humor will be missed. Words were a passion with her, and she was an avid and nearly unbeatable scrabble player. Her love and generosity were unprecedented and will be missed by all she touched.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty J. Bartels, a nephew, Brian Dean McLaughlin, and her parents, Joe & Gladys McLaughlin.

Survivors include a brother, Ronald P. McLaughlin (Barbara) of Surprise, AZ; a sister, Joan M. Cole of Prairie Village, KS; and seven nephews & nieces. Please offer condolences at www.mcgilleyhoge.com
