Gloria June Clark

Gloria June Clark, 79 of overland park, KS passed away peacefully on Jan. 30, 2012. She was born in Sikeston, MO and has lived in Overland Park since 1962. She worked for the Shawnee Mission School District from 1973-1998. She is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Sherrill V. Clark who passed away in 1983. She leaves 3 sons, Stuart Vance Clark of KCMO, Blair Alan Clark (Janet), of Raymore, MO & Matthew Lee Clark (Karla) of Gardner, KS; & 2 daughters, Susan Jane Ellis (David) of Osowatomie, KS & Betsy Jeanne Jones (Scott) of Tamarac, FL; 2 sisters, Jean Noyes & Libby Heiser both in Sikeston, MO; 2 brothers, Ronald Wallace (Barbara) of Sikeston & Ernest Wallace (Carmen) of La Plata, MD. 3 granddaughters, Alexa, Amanda & Courtney & 1 grandson, Sebastian; as well as many nieces & nephews.

Gloria was an avid reader, enjoyed Saturday evenings at The Church of the Ressurection, Leawood & many years of friendships & events at held at The Elks Lodge with her companion of 13 years, Mr. Wallace Johnson also of Overland Park, KS.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 10:00 am at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS 66204. Burial immediately following at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Immediately following interment, friends are invited to gather at The Elks Lodge, 515 W. 99th St., KCMO (between Wornall & Holmes).

Friends may call from 6pm - 8pm on Friday, Feb. 3 at McGilley & Hoge.
