Barbara Schubert Bartlett, 77, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, March 28 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, at McGilley & Hoge Memorial Chapel located at 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park KS 66204.
Barbara was born November 20, 1938 in Hirschberg, Germany; she came to the United States in 1959. Barbara enjoyed gardening, sewing, music, collecting treasures, and spending time with her family. She worked for 30 years at the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Barbara is survived by her four children, Mark (Susan), Linda Giacalone (Angelo), Barbie Gray (Terry), and Eric (Lynn); she was a beloved Omie to her six grandchildren, Andrea McCloskey (Grant), Tyler Swalley, Adam Giacalone (Shelbi), Emily Bartlett, Jake Swalley, Olivia Swalley, and one great-grandson, Nathan Giacalone.
