It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Yolande St-Louis (née Perreault) on December 18, 2024 in her 100th year. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Roger St-Louis. She was a loving mother to (predeceased) Gilles (Carmelle), André (Cathy), Sylvie (Mike) and Jean (Heather); a kind grandmother to Nicholas, Daniel (predeceased), Patrick, Chloé, Sébastien, Justin and Sophie; and proud great-grandmother to Jackson, Kaia, Liam and Willow. She is survived by her remaining sisters, Raymonde Bisnaire and Diane Beauséjour.
Yolande was born in Verner, Ontario, where she studied to become a teacher. She had a brief career in primary schools in Northern Ontario. She eventually moved and raised her family in Ottawa. Yolande always enjoyed and was grateful for being surrounded by her family. She had a passion for ballroom dancing, languages, boating, and getting together for family brunches and dinners. She enjoyed and appreciated people throughout her long life. She will be sadly missed. A celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2025.
