Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 6, 2022 at home at the age of 101. She was the daughter of the late Nicolae Taranu and the late Anghelina Slav. Beloved wife of the late Mirea Toma. She leaves in sorrow her sons: Horia (Maria) and Traian (Elena), her grandchildren: Alexandru (Shamsa), Laura and Adrian (Simona), her great-grandchildren: Yasmine, Yusuf, Zahra, Leila and Victor, as well many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her four sisters. A Private Service will be held.
