Peacefully with her brother Paul by her side on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Walter R. Burton, dear friend of the late Frederick Tovell. Daughter of the late John and Irene Rooney of Fallowfield. Cherished sister to her brother Paul Rooney and predeceased by her siblings, Sr. Phyllis - Franciscan Order, Florence, Helen, Jack, Mary, Gwen, Art, Lucille and Emmett. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews and their children. The family will receive friends at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass at 11 am, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Saint Patrick’s Church, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Fallowfield.
