So sorry to hear about Sharon's illness & death.  Eileen saw the notice & mailed it out to me in Edmonton.  It has been a long time since we were together .. That first MIRCH reunion & later when Sharon was out here on business.  My thoughts certainly turned to those Rosemere days ...  We definately had some great times growing up there. It has been a long time since I saw Sharon (reunion MIRCH).  When I saw the announcement of her death, I got out our old year books, and spent time remembering our grade school and high school years in Rosemere.  My sincere sympathies to you and her family.

Sharon's wit and sage advice were welcomed and appreciated.  A better colleague could not be had...and oh, the tales she could tell!  Mischievous, wicked, a glint in her eye - Sharon always knew what to say and how to say it in the moment.  This year, the Japanese anemone that came from her garden to mine bloomed profusely and will be a beautiful reminder of her in years to come.  She was ever the quintessential Montreal girl at heart and I will miss that West Island girl.  My condolences to Mike, Glenda, and Sharon's extended family.

I am saddened by the loss of this good woman and my heart goes out to Mike and all the family.  May her life partner, Mike, her family and friends find God's comfort and peace during this time of loss.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am saddened at the loss of my dear friend as she was so brave and strong in spite of her illness. I will miss our many long phone conversations as she so wise in her thoughts. We went through several "bumps in the road" together supporting each other along the way   My heart goes out to Mike and all her family as she will become truly missed.

I was greatly surprised at Sharon's death. We shared many happy moments and she studied at Sir George Williams with my husband. Our eldest daughter, Christine, her God-daughter is also fighting breast cancer. I hope that Sharon will finally rest in peace which seems to have eluded her for a long time.

I was sadden to hear of cuz Sharon death passing away from cancer she was a fighter to the end.  May she rest in peace in Heaven looking down on all of us free of pain. I was saddened to hear of Sharon's death and at such a young age.  Cancer is so wasteful of good folk.  I always enjoyed seeing her at AORC meetings and chatting with her over the phone.  My deepest sympathy to Mike and all her family.

The members of the Association of Official Racing Chemists are saddened to hear of the passing of Sharon McLellan.  Sharon spent her working life in the horse racing industry, first at Lynn & Johnston Laboratories, then at Racing Forensics before moving to The Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency. She had been a long time member of the AORC where she held the position of Executive Director for several years.  Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.

Sharon was a good friend and amazing colleague. I will miss her a great deal. We shared many successes, challenges and conversations over the years. I'm happy that we had a chance to meet in recent weeks, and share a few more memories and laughs. Much sympathy from Jim and me to her family. We'll keep her memory alive as long as we're around.

So sad to hear of Sharon's passing.  I have fond memories of working with her, especially some wise words that she shared with me.  My sympathy to the family.
