It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Rita Mary Siddons on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of the late Nigel Siddons for 37 years. Proud mother of Sean (Katrina), Anne-Marie Tudino (David) and Kathleen Graham (Barrie). Special grandmother of Klaire. Beloved daughter of the late Kathleen and the late Thomas Stanton. Dear sister of Marie Gowan (John) and predeceased by her brothers Leonard, Vincent, Gerald and Raymond Stanton. Rita will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Many thanks to the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, for all their compassionate care. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A celebration of Rita and Nigel`s lives will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11 am in the Chapel, followed by a reception . Interment will be held in the spring at St. Mary`s Cemetery, Quyon, Quebec. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
