It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rachel, on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the age of 57 years. Daughter of the late Irene Borris. Dearly loved mother of Guy. Survived by her siblings Marcel (Anita), Claude, Dorothy, Bertrand, Denise and Louise and predeceased by Richard, Gerald and Claudette. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Agi. Rachel was always thoughtful, strong-willed and deeply loved by her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her colleagues at Canada Revenue Agency and friends at Meals on Wheels where she volunteered. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday, April 14, 2012 after 10 am followed by a celebration of her life at 11 am in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation in Rachel`s memory.
