Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Lynda, and his sons, Kevin and Kolin, and, daughter-in-law Kelly. He leaves behind a loving extended family, including Cheryl and Marc, Brendan and Justin, Wally and Mabel, Morris and Carol-Ann, Ron and Rob, and his sister, Angela (Karen). Peter loved being with family and spending summers at the trailer.
The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 after 11am, followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, Peter’s family is asking for donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, or CHEO.
