It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Norma Wilson. Surrounded by her loved ones she went peacefully at Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Thursday August 3rd, 2023 at the age of 67.
Norma was the beloved wife of Samuel “Django” and proud mother of daughter Krystle. She was a devoted sister to Barbara, Cyril (Dionne), Karl (Allison), Claudette (Francois), Sonia, Debbie, and Errol. She was a cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews and grand nieces, grand nephews, and God-children. She will be greatly missed by other extended family and a plethora of friends.
Thank you to the staff and doctors in the ICU at the Ottawa Hospital with special gratitude to Dr. McCroy, nurses Emma, Olivia and John.

Friends are invited to visitation at McEvoy- Shields Funeral Home and Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Rd. (at Albion), on Tuesday, August 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Norma's celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 26th at 11 a.m. Interment follows at Capital Memorial Garden 3700 Prince of Wales Dr. at 12:45 p.m. Reception will follow at the Polish Hall - 379 Waverley St Ottawa at 2:30 p.m.
