Décédée paisiblement le 19 mars 2019 à l’hôpital Montfort, à l’âge de 86 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil son frère: Gilles (feu Liliane Frigo) de Sept-Îles; ses belles-soeurs: Huguette Bertrand-Walcot (feu Henri), Dolorèse Séguin (feu Claude), ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et de très bons ami(e)s. Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères et ses soeurs: Jean-Louis (Odette Bélanger), Fernande, Lucienne (Jean-Louis Lemieux), Margot, Michel, Sr Cécile Deschamps S.C.O et Viateur (Gertrude Houle). Son sense de l’humour, sa générosité, son amour pour sa famille et pour la profession d’enseignante vont être grandement manqués par tous. Une messe commémorative aura lieu le samedi 13 avril 2019 à 9h30 à l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (435, chemin Montréal). La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9h. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la banque alimentaire d’Ottawa ou à Crohn et Colite Canada seraient grandement appréciés.
Passed away peacefully on March 19, 2019 at the Montfort Hospital at the age of 86. Dear sister of Gilles (the late Liliane Frigo) of Sept-Îles; her sisters-in law: Huguette Bertrand-Walcot (the late Henri), Dolorèse Séguin (the late Claude), as well many nephews, nieces and very good friends. She is predeceased by her siblings: Jean-Louis (Odette Bélanger), Fernande, Lucienne (Jean-Louis Lemieux), Margot, Michel, Sr Cécile Deschamps S.C.O and Viateur (Gertrude Houle). Her clever sense of humour, her generosity, her love for her family and the teaching profession will be missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church 435 Montreal Road at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive condolences starting at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Food Bank or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated.
