Maureen Theresa Smith

Beloved daughter of Ruth and Willie Whiteside (predeceased). Loving wife of Brian Creamer. Much loved mother of Robert Smith (Jennifer), Kevin Smith (Jill), step-daughter Dominique. Cherished grandmother to Adia, Ben, Brett and Emmy. Maureen was predeceased by her brother William (Bill) Whiteside. She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law MaryAnn Whiteside, niece Ashley Whiteside Gaal (Shawn), and great niece Roenn; sister-in-law Carol Lennon (David) and nephews Scott (Julia Ann) and Matthew (Olivia); her three first cousins, late Cathy (Rand), Theresa (Martin), Carol (Dave); and her many other cousins and families.

Maureen was born and raised in Toronto where she began a career in banking. She relocated to London and then Ottawa, where she raised her family, and worked as a personal lines insurance broker for over 25 years.

Maureen was a very welcoming, caring, and kind hearted person. She made those around her feel special. She enjoyed travelling, cruising, music, sporting events, and later became a golf enthusiast.

A private family remembrance has been planned.
