Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at St. Catharines General hospital in her 67th year with family by her side.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Patrick of 47 years, her daughters Ethna (Kombo Hassan) and Ashley (Rebecca Miller), her ray of sunshine grandson Joshua and her siblings Frances (Hal Kingston) and Douglas (Chantal).
Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Ethna Ford.
Ethna had a huge heart and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a fighter with enormous strength, who drew on her faith.
Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Friday, August 11th, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 12th, 2023 at 11 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave., with Interment at Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memoriam donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
