Mary Elizabeth Fellows

Mary Elizabeth Fellows passed away in her 80th year, on November 26, 2010 after an incredibly courageous fight against cancer. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William Samuel Fellows. Dear mother of Derek (Carla), Dawn Ferris (Fred), Kim Olsen (John). Predeceased by daughter Sherry Joan. Proud Grandma of Jeremy, Christopher (Rachel), Tamara (Matthew), Kristie, Gloria and Robin. Much loved Nana of Anthony. Predeceased by her parents Meda and Marshall, her step-father Andy Mathias, and her sister, Joan. Mary, born in Kingsville, Ontario in 1930 was raised in Guelph. She was a retired public servant with National Research Council. The family would like to convey their sincerest appreciation to the staff of the Hospice at May Court and to Dr. Hacker. Because of your kindness and incredible care, Mary had several extra cherished days to spend with her family. For this we will be forever grateful. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and after 12 noon on Wednesday followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In memoriam donations to the Hospice at May Court would be appreciated.
