Born in Eganville, Ontario on December 6, 1928, Doreen passed away peacefully in hospital on November 9, 2020, surrounded by her three children. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lynn (Mike McLewin), Mark (Mary Grant) and Susan (Jerry Pitcher). Much loved Nana to Joshua (Jessica), Jodie-Lynn (Reid) and Kennedy. Cherished daughter of the late Mary and Thomas Greene. Dear sister of Elaine Brassor (the late Thomas), Lloyd Greene, Teresa Thompson (Bob) and predeceased by Linda Worrall, Terrance Greene (Rita), Kenneth Greene and Michael Greene. Doreen will be missed by Gilles Plouffe (the father of her three children), many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doreen had an unparalleled wit and sense of humour and left a mark on everyone she met. She had a distinguished career at Bell Canada and after 38 years of service she retired in 1991. She enjoyed almost 30 years of retirement spending much of her time with her family who was everything to her. We will miss her kind spirit, contagious smile and warm heart. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
