Peacefully at Gatineau Hospital on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Ambrose Birt. Loving mother of Audrey Ferguson (Bruce) and Joan Birt (Colin Scully). Mary was predeceased by her parents Martin Burke and Alexina Horan; her brother Leonard Burke, her infant brother William, her sisters Agnes and Phyllis and her sister-in-law Monica Birt. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Residence La Voix du Bon Berger for the care and compassion shown to Mary and her family. Due to the pandemic, a private family funeral was held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home parish of St. Elisabeth`s Church in Cantley, Quebec and she was laid to rest in the parish cemetery with her husband.
